A blunt wrap is a term used to describe tobacco-based rolling paper, but in modern times is also fluidly use to describe any herb wraps, regardless of the materials it’s made of. While there are many ways to enjoy herb, blunts have remained a classic choice for smokers everywhere due to their accessibility, mobility, and burn time. Available in convenience stores across the States, blunt wraps are easy to find, great for smoking on the go, and burn slow.

What Are Blunt Wraps Made Of?

As different herbs rise in popularity, new blunt wrap brands pop up offering their unique smoking experience. The main ingredient in most blunt wrappers is tobacco and they are comprised of an inner layer of tobacco rolling paper, and an outer, thicker, layer. While some brands use an actual tobacco leaf, most often seen is a blunt paper made from pulverized pulp.

You can buy specially made blunt rolling papers that aren’t sold with any filler, but some cheap blunt wraps, like Swisher cigarillos, are filled with tobacco. You would purchase it whole, split it down the middle, remove the tobacco, and reroll with your favorite herb. Specially made blunt paper is just the outer layer, like Zig Zag blunt wraps.

While the best blunt wrap is commonly debated in the community, it really all comes down to personal preference. Smoker innovation is on the rise, and will slowly bring to market new brands, an array of blunt flavors, natural and otherwise, in different materials to help you achieve your perfect smoking experience.
